Insurance and Medicaid
Several clinicians at Denver DBT are credentialed with Aetna and Medicaid for individual therapy; however, benefits vary by plan. If you are insured by Aetna or Medicaid for mental/behavioral health, please let us know, and we are happy to check your benefits to determine if individual therapy with our practice will be covered. Please note that we do not accept Aetna or Medicaid for DBT group therapy.
For all other insurance providers, out-of-pocket payment is required at the time of service. It is worthwhile to call your insurance company if you are not sure what, if any, out-of-network benefits for mental/behavioral health are part of your current plan. At times there are separate out-of-network deductibles that must be met first. If you have out-of-network benefits, we can provide superbills (properly-coded receipts) for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
If you are uninsured or require financial assistance, please inquire about our sliding-scale fees. These fees are based on availability and may apply to both individual and group therapy.
